Some events are memorable because of the food. Others because of the people. This one was special because of both.

I had the privilege of helping coordinate an extraordinary four-hands dinner in Nashville as part of The Rare Tour, bringing together two of the world’s finest steakhouses.
Representing Sweden was Restaurang AG from Stockholm, ranked No. 8 in the world by The World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants. Joining them was Prime + Proper from United States, ranked No. 20 in US and No. 69 in the world by the same prestigious ranking.

Watching two talented teams from different countries collaborate in the kitchen was inspiring. Despite coming from different culinary backgrounds, they shared the same passion for quality, craftsmanship, and hospitality. Throughout the event, ideas, techniques, and experiences flowed naturally, creating an atmosphere that reflected the true spirit of Rare Tour.

The menu showcased exceptional beef, perfectly complemented by thoughtful pairings and flawless execution. But beyond the food, what stood out most was the generosity of everyone involved. There was no ego—just a shared commitment to giving guests an unforgettable experience.

Events like this remind me why I love the world of meat. They bring together producers, chefs, restaurants, and passionate diners from around the globe, proving that great food has the power to connect people across cultures.
A sincere thank you to the teams at Prime + Proper, Restaurang AG, and Rare Tour for making this incredible evening possible.
It was an honor to contribute to an event that celebrated excellence, collaboration, and the universal language of great beef.
I’m already looking forward to the next stop!
