Wagyu Florida Inc breeds for marbling, eye muscle area, self replacing index, disposition and conformation. We want our clients to experience the best that Wagyu cattle have to offer. That means starting with only 100% Fullblood Black Wagyu cattle as not even Red Wagyu will marble consistently like the Black Wagyu. Only as recently as 2019 has it been possible to breed for both growth and marbling through the genetics coming to us from Australia. In the past, if you wanted marbling you lost growth and milk production, or if you bred for growth you lost marbling. Here at WFI we want to give you the best of marbling and growth without losing milk production while also having friendly cattle without the old swayback look of many of the foundational sires. At the same time we seek high Self Replacing Indexes so if you want to keep your heifers you will have great replacements for your herd! ​
