Characteristics of Kokura Beef
Kokura Beef, born in Kitakyushu, is the pinnacle of beef.

Each Japanese Black cow is carefully raised from 8 to 10 months of age for about 20 months. Only those cattle that pass rigorous quality inspections are granted the name "Kokura Beef."

This truly "selected beef" is produced in Kitakyushu, with only a small number of Japanese Black cattle being recognized as Kokura Beef.
