“Iwate Nanbu Beef” refers to the carcass of Japanese Black cattle that have been managed and raised for the longest period in Ichinoseki City and Hiraizumi Town. This beef is certified by the Iwate Nanbu Beef Promotion Association and graded as A3 or higher by the Japan Meat Grading Association. The unique characteristic of Iwate Nanbu Beef is that the cattle are raised from calves to adult cows in the same region. They are nurtured with abundant affection, using high-quality rice straw, hay, and carefully selected compound feed in the naturally blessed environment throughout the four seasons.
