In the US, they are bred for their superior meat quality traits (PRIME ALL THE TIME!), calving ease ability, and are also used in terminal meat programs with breeds like Angus or Holstein to increase the meat quality grade of the first cross progeny.

Our Story

Our story began in 2016 with a tiny, orphaned Black Angus that came home in a dog kennel.  Our son learned work ethic rising early to bottle feed and not going to bed without a second feeding.  He learned that we don't eat, drink, retire to a clean bed, or warm up until the animals do.  He also learned that gentle time spent with an animal pays off tenfold.  He's shown that bucket calf, now a mom five times over, at the county fair three times and she continues to be the matriarch of our small herd.  She cares for all newcomers to the herd, just as our son cared for her. Our herd now includes genetically superior Fullblood Wagyu harvested each year. We're excited to offer this line of quality genetics and buttery, melt in your mouth, quality like no other beef.

Our family is passionate about servant leadership: serving our animals, loved ones, community, and state.  We are constantly on the search to pay it forward and share our blessings.  In addition, we are passionate about advocating for the backbone of America: farmers, ranchers, and small business owners.  We find joy in preserving and sharing small town America.
