Our Commitment
to Quality

Our full-blood Japanese Wagyu cattle are the heart and soul of W8 Ranch. Each animal has undergone rigorous DNA testing and is registered in both the American and Australian Wagyu associations, ensuring that their genetics can be traced back 100% to the original Japanese exports. This provides the foundation for producing the most flavorful and delicious beef in the world. Our continously-evolving attention to genetics and the utmost care in natural practices—no growth hormones, pesticides, or fertilizers—allow us to consistently deliver the best of this unique cattle breed.
At our ranch, we pride ourselves on our distinctive approach of maintaining our animals in a single location from birth throughout their lives. Unlike other ranchers, we refrain from sending them to feedlots or packagers in different locations. Instead, we prioritize grass feeding and grain finishing our steers directly on our own land.

Daniel Guerrero breeds wagyu cattle in Ennice, NC in Alleghany County and the Blue Ridge Mountains near Roanoke. He has guided multiple breeding cycles with attention to genetic diversity and follows recommended health testing protocols through recognized cattle associations.

The herd grazes on open pastures where natural forage supports gradual growth and a varied diet under seasonal management. Calves are introduced to regular handling and socialization early on to encourage calm temperaments and ease of routine care. Careful attention to nutrition and shelter through seasonal changes reflects a hands-on approach to herd well-being.

This focus on balanced grazing and low-stress handling contributes to consistent marbling quality and a steady temperament valued by local producers. Feedback often highlights the farm’s reliable care and the clear communication offered throughout the raising process. Standard barn facilities and rotational paddocks support herd health across varying weather conditions.
