What does 100% Fullblood Wagyu mean?
100% Fullblood Wagyu refers to cattle that are fully traceable to their Japanese Wagyu lineage with no crossbreeding. These cattle are direct descendants of purebred Japanese Wagyu herds, meaning both the bull and cow have forebears originating in Japan, ensuring the highest quality and authenticity in their marbling, tenderness, and flavor.
Well Bred
What is important in our breed plan is to balance the four ancestral lines of Black Wagyu:
- Tajira/Tajima – known for their marbling
- Shigenami – known for their larger frame and good nature
- Tottori/Kedaka – known for their larger frame and good nature
- Fujiyoshi – known for improved milk and larger frame
Marbled = Flavor: The Secret to Wagyu's Unmatched Taste
Wagyu beef is renowned for its rich marbling, which creates an unparalleled depth of flavor and tenderness. This prized Japanese beef offers a taste unlike any other meat, thanks to centuries of selective breeding and use as working cattle. The intricate marbling not only enhances the texture but also infuses the meat with its signature, juicy flavor.
