Iyo Beef, also known as Iyo-gyu, is a specialty of Ehime Prefecture, made from Kuroge Washu cattle. Raised using the region’s rich natural environment and traditional methods, Iyo Beef is produced by designated farmers in Ehime who ensure the cattle are fed selected feeds and carefully managed. The beef is known for its tender texture, rich flavor, and moderate marbling. The dedication and care of the producers contribute to its high reputation as a regional specialty.
