Genuine Minami-Ashigara Brand Beef Soshu Beef, known for its fine-grained texture, high-quality fat that melts in your mouth with a delicate sweetness, and exceptional flavor and aroma, is a brand of beef raised in Minami-Ashigara. Soshu Wagyu, with only about two cattle shipped per month, is often referred to as the "phantom" beef. A Natural, Rich Breeding Environment "Soshu Beef" and "Soshu Wagyu" are raised in a healthy environment, nestled in the foothills of Minami-Ashigara's magnificent Daiyuzan mountain, the only place in Kanagawa Prefecture where cattle are raised through pasture farming. These cattle are carefully bred and raised at Nagasaki Ranch, located on the majestic peaks of Minami-Ashigara. Note: Soshu Beef is a crossbreed of Holstein and Japanese Black Wagyu.
