Definition of "Sannohe・Takko Beef" (三戸・田子牛)
The following conditions must be met for cattle to be designated as "Sannohe・Takko Beef":
Production Location:
The cattle must be produced and raised in Sannohe Town, Takko Town, Nanbu Town, or within the jurisdiction of Hachinohe City, and further fattened by the cooperative.
Fattening Period:
Cattle produced and raised outside the jurisdiction but fattened within the cooperative's jurisdiction for at least 12 months can also be designated as "Sannohe・Takko Beef."
Breed:The breed of the cattle must be female or castrated Japanese Black (Kuroge Washu).
Producers:The cattle must be raised by cooperative members or persons within the jurisdiction.
