Hirano Livestock Co., Ltd.

Hirano Livestock Co., Ltd. is an agricultural production corporation that has achieved an integrated “sixth sector industrialization” model, handling everything from beef production to processing and sales in-house.

At its farm in Yakumo Town, the company raises approximately 100 head of cattle, focusing mainly on crossbred cattle marketed under the “Passion of the North Yakumo Beef” brand, along with Japanese Black Wagyu. Aiming to produce tender beef with mild fat that is easy to enjoy, the cattle are fed a unique feed blend tailored to their age and are raised over a longer period than standard beef.

The carcasses produced are processed at the company’s Sapporo-based facility, the Sapporo Meat Center, and are made into a variety of products, including block cuts, steaks, thinly sliced meat, organ meats, hamburger patties, and gift sets.
