Okayama Wagyu Beef is a specialty product from Okayama Prefecture, made from Kuroge Washu cattle. Raised with the region's rich natural resources and traditional techniques, the beef meets the standards of the Japan Meat Grading Association. It is certified at the Okayama Prefecture Meat Wholesale Market, ensuring a B.M.S (Beef Marbling Standard) of No.4 or higher. Historically, it comes from the excellent bloodlines of the Chugoku region, including "Takenotani Tsuru." The beef is produced by designated JA producers and is available at specific meat shops and restaurants.
