Niigata Wagyu is high-quality beef from Japanese Black cattle raised in Niigata Prefecture. Only beef with a quality grade of A3, B3, or higher is called Niigata Wagyu.
Special Varieties:
Murakami Beef: From cattle raised in Murakami City, Sekikawa Village, or Tainai City. Grades A4, B4, or higher.
Shibata Beef: From cattle raised in Shibata City. Grades A4, B4, or higher.
Quality Assurance:
Only beef meeting strict standards gets a certificate of origin and is sold as Niigata Wagyu. This beef has won many national awards.
