With the trained eyes of skilled professionals, Hujiayagyu cattle are carefully selected and raised to become A5 and A4 ranked premium wagyu.Only calves with the potential to reach these top grades are chosen. The farm believes that well-structured, large cattle with strong bones grow into exceptional Japanese Black Wagyu with superior meat quality.Nurtured in the Great Nature of Aso, Kumamoto
Fujifarm uses the abundant underground water from Mt. Aso, rich in minerals, to hydrate the cattle. The constant breeze and clear water from Aso ensure that the cattle live in a natural and stress-free environment.A Relaxed, Stress-Free Environment
Each cow is individually monitored, and aside from feeding, they are thoroughly checked to ensure their well-being. The farm is dedicated to creating an environment where the cattle can live comfortably without stress. Health management is rigorous, with dedicated personnel for each barn and detailed health records maintained for every cow. The team holds morning and evening meetings to share updates on each animal’s condition.Custom-Blended Feed
Fujifarm has developed a unique blend of feed over many years. This feed is carefully adjusted to suit the condition and growth stage of each cow. The diet includes locally grown rice straw, which is mixed with the feed daily for about 20 months, starting when the cattle are around 8 months old.Processing Facility
