Hakata Wagyu is raised by farmers registered as Hakata Wagyu producers. These farmers typically purchase calves from Kyushu's main calf production areas and carefully raise them for approximately 20 months.

With a focus on maintaining the health of the cattle against the backdrop of Fukuoka Prefecture’s natural environment, the goal is to produce delicious beef. The entire process, from production to sales, is integrated to ensure the delivery of "safe, secure, and delicious beef" to consumers.

Hakata Wagyu is known for its "tender and juicy deliciousness," thanks to the high-quality feed primarily consisting of locally produced rice straw.
