Gokoku Wagyu & Gokoku Beef
The producers of Gokoku Beef are members of the 21st Century Beef Research Association, a group of fattening producers based in Saitama and Gunma Prefectures, which includes our company. The name “Gokoku Beef” comes from the concept of “Gokoku Houjou” (abundant harvest of the five grains), symbolizing the goal of raising healthy cattle.
Key Features
1. Charcoal-Enriched Feed:
To promote cattle health, over 1% of feed-grade charcoal is mixed into the feed. This is fed for more than a year, starting from the calf’s introduction for health promotion and continuing into the fattening phase to enhance meat quality. This charcoal is rich in natural organic components and minerals, which:
• Stimulate cattle growth.
• Boost resistance to disease.
• Produce low-cholesterol fat with a low melting point.
These factors contribute to the creation of delicious beef.
2. Commitment to Safety and Quality:
To provide safe and reliable beef to consumers, producers work closely with veterinarians and participate in the Farm Management Veterinarian Association’s third-party certification program. This ensures a rigorous approach to quality and safety.
Gokoku Beef delivers flavorful, tender, and healthy meat you can enjoy with confidence.
