Genmai Sodachi Iwate Menkoi Hime-ushi (Brown Rice-Raised Iwate Menkoi Princess Cattle)
“Genmai Sodachi Iwate Menkoi Hime-ushi” refers exclusively to female crossbred cattle of Holstein and Japanese Black varieties, raised on a diet that includes brown rice. These cattle are raised at Kirosa Farm in Iwate Town, surrounded by the natural environment and in a cool climate, ensuring a stress-free and healthy life.
The feed is formulated to include at least 5% brown rice, resulting in high oleic acid content. This composition lowers the melting point of the fat, allowing the beef to melt smoothly in the mouth. No growth hormones or immune-boosting antibiotics are used, preserving the natural quality of the beef.
Female cattle, compared to their more muscular male counterparts, have a higher content of easily meltable fat, resulting in tender, soft meat that contains beneficial fats. Female cattle are also more challenging to fatten, making their meat rarer and more prized.
With a silky texture and a melt-in-the-mouth experience, this beef is a delight even for elderly diners.
