The aim is to further improve the quality of Japanese Black beef and to provide safe, secure, and delicious beef to more people.

What Makes Daikoku Sen-gyu Different
Raised in Japan’s rich natural environment, nurtured by clean air, high-quality water, and a varied climate, Japanese Black wagyu is globally renowned for its safety and exceptional taste. Among these, Daikoku Sen-gyu stands out, only awarded to Japanese Black cattle that meet strict standards.
Raised with great care and affection by producers, each animal is carefully tended to in a stress-free environment. The cattle are fed a nutritious mix that includes rice straw, grass (both domestic and imported), as well as nutrient-rich bagasse and brewers' grains, promoting better fattening rates and supporting stable farm management.
Through providing safe, high-quality beef, Daikoku Sen-gyu strives for a "win-win-win" for producers, sellers, and consumers, aiming to bring smiles to many.

The Meaning Behind Daikoku Sen-gyu
"Daikoku" refers to Daikoku-sama, one of the Seven Lucky Gods and a symbol of prosperity and good fortune, while "black" refers to the Japanese Black cattle. This brand evokes a joyful and auspicious image, full of smiles and good fortune.
The wish behind Daikoku Sen-gyu is that Japanese Black wagyu, raised in Japan’s rich natural environment, will continue to be loved by producers and customers alike for generations. The logo features elegant brushstroke characters in a calligraphy style known as reisho, originating in China in the 3rd century BCE. This ancient script, one of the roots of modern typography, is a perfect match for a brand that pledges eternal trust.
