Our Story
With a vision of raising premium Wagyu Beef, Rick and Stephanie Carter began Black Jack Ranch in 2005.
After some time, and continued growth, Black Jack Ranch is now an exquisite property boasting a thriving seedstock and beef program sprawled across Stone County Mississippi, with two ranch locations in Wiggins and Perkinston.
Expanding upon our excellence in Wagyu, the ranch has developed F1 cattle from our herds of Wagyu and Black Angus.
At Black Jack Ranch, the utmost care and dedication are poured into maintaining our exquisite ranch. Our pastures and pristine facilities are meticulously maintained, to provide a serene and comfortable environment, ensuring the well-being of our cattle.
In 2022, we purchased our ace in the hole, LMR Samauri 1749. Ranking in the top 1% for all Wagyu Indexes and leading the world in MS EBV and marble fitness, his progeny is making a name for itself.
At Black Jack Ranch, we firmly believe that the care we invest directly contributes to the creation of exceptional herds and premium products.
Our goal is to put the best beef on the plates of our customers.
Our pasture raised beef is grass-fed and grain finished. We use rotational grazing and supplement hay during the winter months.
Here at the ranch, we offer a wide variety of beef cuts with an enhanced flavor and tenderness. The marbling on our beef is second to none due to their grain finish.
Aside from our premium beef, we honor the whole animal by rendering every piece. From our bone marrow butter and broths, to our all natural soap and tallow skincare products, every effort is made to not be wasteful.
