A Richly Flavored Delicacy Raised by Nature A vast green area spreads across the foothills of Mount Ashitaka in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture. Surrounded by the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, it's an ideal environment.  Among the cattle carefully raised in this area, those with particularly rich flavor and tender meat are called "Ashitaka Beef."  "Ashitaka Beef" is high-quality beef, finished through fattening with selected feed over a specific period. Its distinctive feature is its rich, deep flavor.
