Akita Yurigi Beef is a breed of Japanese Black cattle, with a shipping age of around 30 months. The designated fattening areas are Yurihonjo City and Nikaho City. The trademark was registered in March 2007, and a designated store system and promotional tools are in place. The grading standard is AB or higher, with cattle aged over 30 months. The annual shipment volume is 200 head, primarily handled by the Akita Meat Distribution Corporation. There are plans to further expand exports in the future. To enhance the flavor even more, from six months before shipping, the cattle are fed more than 1 kg of rice feed per day. This aims to achieve a lean yet flavorful meat, ensuring safe and delicious beef production.
